- Not every LIVE needs a computer. Here is how to tell when yours does.
- If you mostly talk, sing or answer comments, a phone on a stand is enough.
- Move to a computer when you need more: a game on screen, alerts, goals or a better camera.
- TikTok LIVE Studio, TikTok's own computer app, is the simplest way to start.
- Log in with your TikTok account, add your camera, and pick the vertical format.
- When you show your screen, share one window only, so private messages never appear.
- Use a network cable to your router, not Wi-Fi. Pause cloud backups and downloads.
- Put the comments window right under your camera, so you read chat while facing viewers.
- Most viewers watch on a phone. Check your LIVE on a second phone and make small text bigger.
- Three quick questions, and you will know which setup fits your next LIVE.
